Edwardian Boots

I thought it would be fun to hang Edwardian boots on my Christmas tree. If the silver/blue shoe had a blade on the bottom it would look like an old-fashioned ice-skate.

The stitch for the toe of the red boot came from the ANG web site —September, 2009 — Cassique. Stitching the cuff was my first adventure into turkey tufting with combined fibers and it turned out well.

To finish the blue boot, I went to the fabric store and found fake fur for the cuff and tiny pearl buttons.
